Most product and “check the price” links on AffordableThing that point to AliExpress are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to make a qualifying purchase, AliExpress pays AffordableThing a small commission. This doesn’t change the price you pay — the commission comes out of AliExpress’s or the seller’s own margin, not from an added charge to you.
Our editorial independence
Affiliate commissions are how AffordableThing sustains itself, but they don’t decide what we recommend. Our research comes first: we say so plainly when a product, brand or category isn’t a good buy, even though that means no commission for us on that recommendation.
If a cheaper or better-reviewed alternative exists, we’ll generally tell you — rather than steering you toward whichever link pays the most.
What we don’t do
- We don’t accept payment in exchange for a positive review or a guaranteed placement in a “Best Picks” list.
- We don’t fabricate discounts, urgency, or scarcity to push a click.
