AliExpress combined delivery lets you merge multiple unshipped orders from the same seller into a single parcel. The seller packs everything together and ships once, potentially reducing shipping costs and giving you one tracking number to monitor instead of several. It sounds straightforward, and it is, once you understand the core constraint that trips up most buyers: combined delivery only works within a single seller’s orders. You cannot merge orders across different sellers, even if those sellers sell identical products.
What Combined Delivery Is
Combined delivery is a fulfillment coordination feature. After placing two or more orders with the same seller, and before that seller ships anything, you can request that all outstanding orders go into one package. The seller agrees, repacks, and dispatches a single combined shipment to your address.
The main reason buyers use it is shipping cost. If each individual order carries a separate small shipping fee, combining them into one parcel means paying that fee once. For buyers who regularly order multiple small items from a single store, this adds up.
How to Request Combined Delivery on AliExpress
Through the AliExpress app:
Go to My Orders and locate the unshipped orders from the seller you want to combine. AliExpress surfaces a “Combine Orders” or “Combine Delivery” option in some account and order management areas, though availability varies by region and app version. If the option does not appear, messaging the seller directly is the most reliable path.
Through seller messaging:
Open a message to the seller through the AliExpress messaging system and tell them you have placed multiple orders and would like them shipped together before they process the shipments. Most established sellers accommodate this request without issue. Send the message as soon as possible after placing the orders, before the seller starts processing.
Timing is critical. Once a seller assigns a tracking number to an order, that order has been handed to the carrier and cannot be recalled for combination. Reach out within hours of placing the second order, not days later.
The Key Limitation: Same Seller Only
Combined delivery does not work across different sellers. This is the most common source of confusion. If you buy a phone case from Seller A and a charging cable from Seller B, no combination is possible even if both sellers are based in the same city in China and list near-identical products.
The only orders that qualify for combination are multiple orders placed within the same seller’s AliExpress store. Check that the seller name on each relevant order matches exactly before requesting combination.
When Combined Delivery Saves Money vs When It Adds Delay
Worth requesting when: individual orders each carry a non-zero shipping fee and the seller is willing to combine before dispatch. Buying three items at $0.99 shipping each becomes one shipment at roughly $0.99 to $1.50 combined. The saving is real.
Not worth requesting when: all your orders already show free shipping. Combining free-shipping orders saves nothing on cost and delays dispatch while the seller waits to accumulate items. You are better off letting each order ship independently and receiving them on their own timelines.
Check before requesting: look at the shipping cost on each order in your cart or in My Orders. If every item is already marked free shipping, let them ship separately.
How Tracking Works for Combined Orders
Once the seller ships the combined parcel, AliExpress assigns a single tracking number to the shipment. That number appears across all the merged order pages in My Orders, so each original order reflects the same combined tracking reference.
Track the combined shipment through the AliExpress order page, or enter the tracking number directly at 17track.net for more frequent updates from multiple carrier networks.
If a problem arises with the combined order, such as one item missing or damaged inside the parcel, open a dispute on the specific order for that item rather than on all merged orders simultaneously. Each underlying order retains its own buyer protection window and dispute capability. Check that the protection end date on each order has not been shortened by the combination process: the date should reflect the new combined shipment’s estimated delivery time.
